Site Description: Hubei Light Industry Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational and technical college directly under the Hubei Department of Education. The college was founded in 1956 and was formerly under the former Ministry of Food Industry. In 1972, it was renamed as "Hubei Provincial Light Industry School" and was under the jurisdiction of Hubei Provincial First Light Industry Bureau; In 1987, we collaborated with the Hans Seidel Foundation of the former Federal Republic of Germany and introduced the "dual system" teaching model of the Federal Republic of Germany; In 1996, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to pilot a five-year vocational college; In April 2001, with the approval of the Hubei Provincial People's Government, the "Hubei Light Industry Vocational and Technical College" was established under the jurisdiction of the Hubei Provincial Light Industry Management Office; In 2004, it was transferred to the direct management of the Education Department of Hubei Province.
