Hunan Modern Logistics Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Hunan Provincial Materials School (founded in 1965) and Hunan Provincial Petrochemical Workers' University. It is the only higher vocational college in China with modern logistics as the leading profession. The college is a provincial-level demonstration higher vocational college jointly established by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement. It was established and built in 2009 in Hunan Province, and was rated as the "Most Characteristic Vocational College in China" by the China Education Evaluation Center. It has also been awarded the title of "Outstanding College for Logistics Talent Training". The college takes the lead in establishing the Hunan Modern Logistics Vocational Education Group - the first vocational education group officially approved by Hunan Province. After the evaluation of the talent cultivation level in vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education, the college has been determined as "excellent". In 2009, the logistics industry ranked among the top ten revitalizing industries in China, providing updated opportunities for the development of modern logistics industry and colleges.

Hunan Transportation Engineering Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive, full-time public higher vocational college. The predecessor of the college was Hengyang Railway Engineering School, a national key vocational school under the former Ministry of Railways, founded in 1951. With a long history of education and brilliant achievements, it is known as the "Huangpu Military Academy of Railways". The first president was General Guo Weicheng, former Minister of the Ministry of Railways and Commander of the Railway Corps. In 2005, it was registered and upgraded to a regular higher vocational and technical college by the Ministry of Education.

Yiyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public university approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is an "excellent" college evaluated by the Ministry of Education for talent cultivation work. The college currently has nearly 6000 students, a campus area of 579 acres, a building area of 170000 square meters, and a total asset of over 200 million yuan. The college has over 100 training rooms and bases, including advanced electronic reading rooms, multimedia classrooms, modern manufacturing training bases, automobile testing and maintenance training bases supported by central finance, automobile driver training bases, garden and flower cultivation bases, animal husbandry bases, computer centers, electronic training centers, and financial and accounting training centers; Books and materials can be shared with Hunan University.

Hunan Urban Vocational College is a full-time vocational ordinary higher education institution approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. The college mainly focuses on science and engineering, and also offers comprehensive colleges with distinctive liberal arts majors. The college's floor area, building area, teaching and other facilities, as well as equipment and teaching staff, all meet the standards of the Ministry of Education of China. The library has a collection of over 200000 books and over 520 types of newspapers and magazines. We have over thirty experimental and training rooms, including campus printing factories, mold factories, CNC molds, fitter skills welding, electronic technology, digital circuits, analog circuits, electricians, language, physical education, academic lecture halls, and multimedia.

Hunan Biomechanical Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public ordinary higher education institution organized and managed by the Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture. It is the only vocational college in Hunan Province with a hundred year history and profound cultural heritage. Academician Yuan Longping, a world-renowned hybrid rice expert, is the honorary dean of our institute. The predecessor of the college, "Hunan Private Training School," was founded in 1903. Huang Xing, the pioneer of the democratic revolution, founded the "Huaxing Association" under the cover of his status as a sports teacher in the "school of study"; Mao Zedong, the founding leader, once wrote articles for the "Xiangjiang Commentary" under the guise of being a history teacher at the "Xiuye School"; Xu Teli, a famous educator, has served as a teacher in the "Xiuye School" for more than 10 years. He once wrote generously and passionately "expel Tartars and restore China"... The torrential rains of the 1911 Revolution, the hard years of entrepreneurship in the "Xiuye School", and the words and deeds of the older generation of revolutionaries, have forged the glorious revolutionary tradition and profound cultural heritage of the college. The college has cultivated a large number of national pillars such as Mao Zeqin, Wang Shoudao, Ouyang Li'an, and Shen Qizhen.

Changsha Business and Tourism Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public regular higher education institution approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Changsha Municipal People's Government, and managed by the Provincial Department of Education. There are currently two courtyards, located at 578 Shaoshan South Road and 143 Laodong West Road in Changsha, with convenient transportation. The college is people-oriented and cultivates applied higher vocational and technical talents in the field of business and tourism. Currently, there are over 4000 students on campus. The college has made outstanding achievements in running a school. It has been awarded the titles of "Civilized Unit", "Garden like Unit", "exemplary organization for Enrollment Work of Vocational Schools in Changsha City", "exemplary organization for Graduate Employment Work in Hunan Province" for many consecutive years. In 2003, it was awarded the title of "Advanced School for Vocational Guidance Work of Vocational and Technical Schools in China" by the Ministry of Education, and was awarded the medal of "Young Volunteer Gold Award for Learning from Lei Feng" by the Youth League Central Committee.

Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College is a national public higher vocational and technical college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government for registration with the Ministry of Education in July 2000. The college covers an area of 4019 acres, with a construction area of over 400000 square meters, a total fixed asset value of over 500 million yuan, and a collection of over 830000 books. There are currently over 1100 in-service teaching and administrative staff, including 79 with senior professional titles and over 287 with deputy senior professional titles. 43 vocational colleges have been established, covering various professional categories such as agriculture, healthcare, commerce, science and engineering, humanities and management, with 18000 students enrolled. Since its establishment, the college has always adhered to the principle of serving, guided by employment, and pursued a development path that combines industry, academia, and research. It is committed to cultivating highly skilled specialized talents and high-quality workers for local economic and social development, forming a distinct educational characteristic and achieving significant educational performance.

The college is located in the urban area of Chenzhou City, the "South Gate" of Hunan Province, which is known as the "National Excellent Tourist City", the "China Women's Volleyball Team Soaring Base", the "Home of Nonferrous Metals" and other famous cities. It is the "National Demonstration Base for Staff Training of Small and Medium sized Enterprises", the "exemplary organization of Vocational Education" of Hunan Province, the "Civilized University" of Hunan Province, and the "First Batch Research Base of Educational Sciences in Hunan Province".

Hunan Vocational College of Arts (with a secondary vocational school and Hunan Provincial Art School) is located at the foot of the picturesque Yuelu Mountain. It is the only public art higher education institution in Hunan Province approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and managed by the Provincial Department of Culture.

Hunan Radio and Television University is an open modern distance education higher education institution, and its affiliated branch is a directly affiliated educational unit of the provincial school, responsible for the management of open education and adult education at the provincial school headquarters. It is a pilot school approved by the Ministry of Education for the "Central Radio and Television University Talent Training Model Reform and Open Education Pilot" project. Currently, it has 10 undergraduate majors and 15 specialized majors in open education.

Changsha Environmental Protection Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1979, and its predecessor was Changsha Environmental Protection School of the State Environmental Protection Administration. The school was upgraded to a public full-time ordinary university in, and is now jointly built by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is currently the only vocational college in China that specializes in cultivating high-quality and skilled frontline environmental protection talents.

Hunan Foreign Language Vocational College is a full-time regular higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is also the only independent full-time foreign language vocational college in the central and southern regions, mainly focusing on foreign language majors. The college is currently an executive director unit of the China International Education Exchange Association and a consultant unit for education in western China.
