In the beautiful spring city of Changchun in the North, there is a shining artistic pearl embedded, which is the cradle of cultivating artistic talents - Jilin Animation Academy. The college, formerly known as the Animation College of Jilin Academy of Arts, was founded in June 2000 through investment from Jilin Education Industry Group Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Jilin Academy of Arts; In February 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as an independent college of ordinary higher education institutions; In September 2008, after comprehensive evaluation by the Ministry of Education, it was officially approved as an independent undergraduate level private ordinary higher education institution, renamed Jilin Animation College, and became one of the first batch of over 320 independent colleges in China and the first private ordinary university in Jilin Province to be converted from an independent college to an undergraduate level.

Changchun University of Science and Technology (formerly Changchun University of Optics and Precision Mechanics) is a provincial key university in Jilin Province, characterized by optoelectronic technology and advantageous in the combination of optics, mechanics, electronics, computing, and materials, with coordinated development of engineering, science, humanities, economics, management, and law. The school was founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1958. Professor Wang Daheng, a famous scientist, an academician of the CAS Member and CAE Member, is the main founder, the first president, and the current honorary president. The school has successively been affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Five Machinery, the Machinery Commission, the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics, and the China National Weapons Industry Corporation; In 1999, it was transferred to Jilin Province for management and co built with the National Defense Science and Technology Commission; In 2002, it was renamed Changchun University of Science and Technology; In 2004, it was designated as a key university in Jilin Province. Currently, it is a joint university established by Jilin Province, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Changchun City.

The predecessor of Jilin Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College was Jilin Jiaotong School, founded in 1958. In 1998, Jilin Jiaotong School merged with Jilin Jiaotong Workers' University to establish Jilin Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College. It is the first independent vocational and technical college in Jilin Province and also one of the earliest independent vocational and technical colleges established in China. In 2000, the affiliation was transferred from the Jilin Provincial Department of Transportation to the Jilin Provincial Department of Education. In 2001, it was rated by the Ministry of Education as one of the 31 demonstrative vocational and technical colleges in China. In 2005, it was awarded the honorary title of "exemplary organization of Provincial Vocational Education" by the provincial government. In 2006, it passed the talent training level assessment of higher vocational colleges with excellent grades. In 2007, it was approved as a key demonstrative higher vocational college in Jilin Province.

Jilin University of Commerce and Industry is a provincial-level public finance and economics regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2007, formed by the merger of the original Jilin Finance and Taxation College, Jilin Commercial College, and Jilin Grain College. The original three vocational colleges were all established in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Over the course of more than 40 years of education, they have created a number of famous majors such as finance and accounting, catering, food, and other fields, providing more than 40000 outstanding talents for national construction. While serving the local community and contributing to society, they have continuously won their own development and social praise.

Guanghua College of Changchun University is an independent college at the undergraduate level approved by the Ministry of Education of China and established by Changchun University according to the new mechanism and model. The college, based on market demand and taking into account the employment situation of the national revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China, currently has 25 undergraduate majors and 3 specialized majors in five disciplines: humanities, science, engineering, management, and economics. There are over 9000 students from various provinces (cities) across the country. After years of operation, Guanghua College has formed its own characteristic of "quality based education".

The school now has 15 teaching colleges (departments), including the College of Animal Science, the College of Animal Medicine, the College of Food Engineering, the College of Plant Science, the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the College of Biological Engineering, the College of Economic Management, the College of information engineering, the College of Mechanical Engineering, the College of Architectural Engineering, the liberal arts college, the College of Foreign Languages, the College of Higher Vocational Technology, the College of Social Sciences, and Sports. Jilin College of The Arts

Baicheng Normal University is located in Baicheng City, known as the hometown of cranes, and is the only undergraduate institution in the western part of Jilin Province. It was founded in 1958. In August 2000, the Jilin Provincial Government decided to merge Baicheng Forestry School into Baicheng Normal College; In March 2002, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to a undergraduate institution. In 1999, we jointly recruited undergraduate students with Siping Normal University and began undergraduate education; In 2002, the college independently enrolled undergraduate students; In 2007, we jointly trained master's students with Northeast Normal University and began master's education. In June 2008, the college passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education with excellent results. At present, the college has developed into a teaching oriented provincial regular undergraduate institution mainly focused on teacher education, covering the coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, and management.

Jilin Medical College, formerly known as the Fourth Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China, was founded in 1952 and has trained over 30000 medical talents for the military and local governments. It has a glorious history and excellent tradition. In August 2004, with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the school was transferred from the military to Jilin Province and renamed as Jilin Medical College. It became a provincial public higher medical undergraduate institution and is currently the only independent comprehensive higher medical institution in Jilin Province.

Jilin Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1958. The college is a new type of sports institution that integrates education, sports, scientific research, and enterprise. Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Language College is located in the scenic Jingyuetan Tourist Scenic Area of Changchun. Changchun Vocational and Technical College is a public comprehensive vocational and technical college approved by the Jilin Provincial Government and qualified for higher education enrollment.
