Site Description: Jilin Medical College, formerly known as the Fourth Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China, was founded in 1952 and has trained over 30000 medical talents for the military and local governments. It has a glorious history and excellent tradition. In August 2004, with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the school was transferred from the military to Jilin Province and renamed as Jilin Medical College. It became a provincial public higher medical undergraduate institution and is currently the only independent comprehensive higher medical institution in Jilin Province.
