• Chuxiong Normal University

    Chuxiong Normal College was established in May 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, on the basis of the merger of the original Chuxiong Normal College and Chuxiong Ethnic Normal School. It integrates full-time normal education with non normal education, radio and television education, and adult education. It is the only undergraduate normal college in Yunnan Province's Ethnic Autonomous Prefecture. The college is located in Chuxiong City, the capital of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, known as the "Provincial Gate", "Dianzhong Corridor", and "Yixi Throat".

    The predecessor of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics was Yunnan Provincial School of Finance and Trade Cadres, founded in 1951.   • Southwest Forestry University

    Southwest Forestry University began in the Forestry Department of Yunnan University in 1939, and has gone through Kunming Agricultural and Forestry University, Yunnan Forestry University, Yunnan Forestry University, and Southwest Forestry University.
