Site Description: Changchun Normal University is located in the beautiful Spring City of the North - Changchun. It is a teaching oriented and multidisciplinary normal university with the right to grant master's degrees, and is a training base for basic education teachers and applied senior specialized talents in Jilin Province. The school was founded in 1958 and was then named Changchun Normal College. In 1963, according to the national policy of institutional adjustment, it was renamed Changchun Normal School. In 1981, it was approved by the State Council to be renamed Changchun Normal College. It was under the jurisdiction of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation since 1986 and operated under the mechanism of joint construction between the central and local governments in 1998, under the management of Jilin Province. In 2001, the school successfully passed the qualification evaluation of undergraduate teaching work in ordinary higher education institutions by the Ministry of Education. In the 2007 evaluation of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education, the school became the only provincial normal university in Jilin Province to obtain excellent conclusions
