Site Description: Hebei University of Finance, founded in 1952 by the Baoding Bank School, is a secondary professional school directly established by the head office of the People's Bank of China, specializing in cultivating talents for banks. It later went through development stages such as Hebei Finance School and Hebei Bank School. In 1984, it was upgraded to a junior college, namely Baoding Financial College. In 1991, it was renamed Baoding Financial College. In 2000, it was transferred to the People's Government of Hebei Province and implemented a management system of "central and local co construction, with local management as the main focus". In March 2007, it was upgraded to a undergraduate institution and renamed Hebei University of Finance. It is the only central and local co built institution with distinct financial characteristics in North China and Northwest China.
