    Tianjin University of Commerce was founded in 1980 and was originally under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It is now jointly managed by the Ministry of Education and Tianjin City, with Tianjin City as the main management center.   • Tianjin Medical University

    The predecessor of Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin Medical College, was founded in 1951. It was the first higher medical institution approved by the State Council after the establishment of the People's Republic of China, with renowned endocrinologist and medical educator Professor Zhu Xianyi as the first president. In 1993, the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Government decided to merge Tianjin Medical College with Tianjin Second Medical College to form Tianjin Medical University, which was approved by the National Education Commission in December of the same year. In June 1994, Tianjin Medical University was officially established. The current party secretary of the university is Professor Zhang Lianyun, and the president is Professor Hao Xishan, a famous oncology expert and academician of the CAE Member. The school is a key construction institution of the national "211 Project".

  • Langfang Teachers College

    Langfang Normal University is located in Langfang City, Hebei Province, known as "a shining pearl on the Beijing Tianjin Corridor". Its predecessor was the Anci County Simple Normal School established in 1946, which was later managed by the Tianjin Regional Commissioner's Office in 1951. In 1956, with the approval of the Tianjin Regional Education Bureau, Langfang Normal School in Hebei was established. In 1964, it was under the management of Hebei Province and renamed Langfang Normal College. Mr. Guo Moruo, then Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, personally inscribed the name of the school. In March 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Langfang Normal College, Langfang Education College, and Langfang Normal School merged to establish Langfang Normal College, which was upgraded to a regular undergraduate normal college and was under the management of the Education Department of Hebei Province. In 2005, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government, it merged with Hebei Vocational and Technical College to form the new Langfang Normal University. In 2004, it passed the qualification review for the right to confer a bachelor's degree. The college has held undergraduate education for 8 years and is currently recruiting students from 19 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country.
