Site Description: Xing'an Vocational and Technical College is located in Ulanhot City, south of the Great Xing'an Mountains. Ulanhot City is the place where the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government was established and is known as "Yan'an, Inner Mongolia". The college is a full-time ordinary vocational college established with the approval of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2001. Its predecessor was Xing'an League Normal School and Xing'an League Education College, among which Xing'an League Normal School was founded in 1970 and is one of the six demonstration evaluation pilot schools in the country. In 2004, in accordance with the decision of the League Committee and the League Administration to expand and strengthen Xing'an Vocational and Technical College, Xing'an League Agriculture and Animal Husbandry School, Health School, Finance and Economics School, Transportation and Technical School, and Grain Cadre Training School were merged into the college.
