The college is located in Qinzhou City, an "excellent tourist city in China", in the rapidly developing core industrial zone of the Beibu Gulf, in the central coastal area of Guangxi. It is the only public regular undergraduate higher education institution in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi. The college currently has two campuses, east and west, covering an area of 700 acres. The college expansion project with a total investment of 260 million yuan (including the acquisition of 1000 acres of land by Qinzhou University Ocean College and the expansion of 330 acres of land by the college headquarters) was listed as a key promotion project in the autonomous region in 2007. The use of Italian development projects by the college has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, with a project fund of approximately 105 million yuan. The college has 15 departments, departments, and secondary colleges, with over 10000 students (including international students). Over the past 34 years, the college has played an important role in building the China ASEAN Free Trade Area and the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, especially in providing talent protection, intellectual support, and technological development for Qinzhou, Beihai, and Fangchenggang.

The predecessor of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College was Guangxi Labor University, founded in 1965. In 1998, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be restructured as a higher vocational college for nationwide enrollment. In 2002, the college was designated as a national key supporting demonstration vocational college, and in 2007, it became one of the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Guangxi.

Guangxi Institute of Technology is a local engineering college established with the approval of the State Council and directly under the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The school was founded in 1958, ceased enrollment in 1961, ceased operation in 1962, merged with Guangxi Light Industry College, Guangxi Mechanical College, and Guangxi Institute of Petroleum and Chemical Technology in 1982 for restoration and reconstruction. In 1985, it moved from Nanning to Liuzhou for education.

Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956. After 50 years of construction, it has now developed into a higher traditional Chinese medicine university with a focus on medicine, engineering, management, and other disciplines. It integrates teaching, scientific research, medical treatment, and drug production. The school has distinct characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and Guangxi ethnic medicine, and is the cradle for cultivating high-quality composite traditional Chinese medicine talents and an important base for integrating traditional Chinese medicine industry, academia, and research.

Guangxi Academy of Arts is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is one of the six comprehensive art colleges under the provincial government in China. The college's predecessor was the "Guangxi Art Teacher Training Class" initiated by Mr. Man Qianzi, Xu Beihong, and Wu Bochao in Guilin in 1938. It later developed into Guangxi Art College, which was merged into the Central South American College and the Central South Audio College during the adjustment of higher education institutions nationwide in 1953. In 1958, Guangxi Art College was restored and upgraded to Guangxi Art College in 1960. Nowadays, Guangxi Academy of Arts has developed into a large-scale, advantageous institution with strong faculty, multiple majors, and multi-level education.

Youjiang Ethnic Medical College is a full-time general higher medical institution located in Baise City, an important town in western Guangxi, under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (province). This is the place where Comrade Deng Xiaoping led the famous Baise Uprising in 1929, established the Seventh Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, and the Youjiang Revolutionary Base. It is the hub of the Great Southwest Sea Passage and an important aluminum industry base in China. The beautiful and clear Chengbi River and the rolling eastward Youjiang River meet here, passing through the city. The Nankun Railway, known as the Southwest Artery, and the busy Nanbai Expressway run through the Youjiang River Valley Corridor, connecting the west and east. The college is located in the western district of the city, shaded by green trees and with an elegant environment, making it a great place to study and pursue further education.

Nanning Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Nanning Vocational University, was founded in 1984. It is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college organized by the Nanning Municipal People's Government and jointly built by the district and city. In December 2006, the college was designated as one of the first national demonstration construction universities in China.

The predecessor of Guangxi Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College was Guangxi Machinery Industry School, founded in 1958. It is located on the beautiful shores of Xiangsi Lake in Nanning, the central city of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. In 1999, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to a public ordinary higher education institution, under the jurisdiction of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Economic Commission. There are currently 650 full-time and part-time teachers, including 496 teachers with intermediate or higher professional titles such as professors, associate professors, senior engineers, and lecturers; There are 10386 full-time students and 678 correspondence students on campus. The campus covers an area of 776 acres, with a building area of 209600 square meters and fixed assets of 220 million yuan. The campus environment is fresh and elegant, with a strong cultural atmosphere, making it an ideal institution for learning and living.

Guilin Tourism College was founded in 1985 and was initially called Guilin Tourism College. In 1994, it was officially named Guilin Tourism College. The school is located in Guilin, an internationally renowned tourist city with unparalleled mountains and rivers. It has two campuses, Luan and Yanshan, covering an area of 1885 acres.
