Space industry College is located in the Yaoshan Scenic Spot of Guilin, an international tourist city with the best mountains and rivers in the world. The school was founded in 1979 and was formerly affiliated to the Ministry of space industry. In March 2008, the school became a university jointly built by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Guangxi Normal University was founded in 1932 and is a key university in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Guangdong Polytechnic Vocational College
