• Nanjing Medical University

    Nanjing Medical University is a key university under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. The school was founded in 1934 and was named Jiangsu Provincial Medical and Political College. It is one of the earliest higher education institutions in China to carry out graduate education. In 1957, it was renamed Nanjing Medical College. In 1962, it was listed as one of the first six year medical colleges in China. In 1981, it was approved as one of the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. In 1993, it was renamed Nanjing Medical University.

    China University of Mining and Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and is one of the key universities under the national "211 Project", "Project 985" and "Innovation Platform Project for Superior Disciplines". The school has a graduate school. The predecessor of China University of Mining and Technology was Jiaozuo Railway and Mining School, founded in 1909, and later renamed Jiaozuo Institute of Technology. In 1950, based on Jiaozuo Institute of Technology, the first higher education institution in mining industry in New China, China Institute of Mining and Technology, was established in Tianjin. In 1952, the departments of higher education institutions nationwide were adjusted, and the mining departments of Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, and Tangshan Railway University were merged into the China Institute of Mining and Technology. In 1953, it moved to Beijing and was renamed Beijing Institute of Mining and Technology. In 1960, it was designated as a national key university. During the Cultural Revolution, it moved to Sichuan and was renamed Sichuan Institute of Mining and Technology. In 1978, with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the school was rebuilt in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and the name of China Institute of Mining and Technology was restored. It was once again recognized as one of the 88 key universities in China. In 1988, it was renamed China University of Mining and Technology. In 1997, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Campus of China University of Mining and Technology was established. In 2000, it was transferred to the direct management of the Ministry of Education.
