Overview of Weifang Medical College: The school's predecessor was the Shandong Province Changwei Medical College, established in 1951. It was expanded to Changwei Medical College in 1958 and renamed Weifang Medical College in 1987. In 1986, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to become the third batch of master's degree awarding units in China. Since 2002, the school has jointly trained doctoral students with Shandong University, Southern Medical University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and others.

Qingdao Agricultural University was founded in 1951 and has undergone changes such as Laiyang Agricultural School, Laiyang Agricultural College, Laiyang Agricultural University, and the restoration of Laiyang Agricultural College. Starting from 2000, the Qingdao campus was established and the main body of the school moved to Qingdao. In March 2007, it was renamed as "Qingdao Agricultural University" with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Shandong Jiaotong University was founded in 1956 and was transferred to Shandong Province by the Ministry of Transport in 2000. Weifang College is a full-time comprehensive undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education, founded in October 1951. The school is located in Weifang City, Shandong Province, which is a world-renowned kite capital and an excellent tourist city in China.

Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1958. In 1978, it was listed as a national key university of traditional Chinese medicine. In 1981, it became a key university in Shandong Province, and in 1996, it was renamed Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2007, it was relocated from Lixia District, Jinan City to Changqing University Science and Technology Park. It is the only independent medical university in Shandong Province and an excellent university evaluated by the Ministry of Education for its undergraduate teaching level.

Shandong Agricultural University is located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Taishan Mountain. Its predecessor is Shandong Higher Agricultural School, which was founded in Jinan in 1906. After several changes, Shandong Agricultural College was established in 1952 after nationwide departmental adjustments. In 1958, it moved from Jinan to Tai'an and was renamed Shandong Agricultural University in 1983. In July 1999, with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province, Shandong Agricultural University and Shandong Water Conservancy College were merged, while Shandong Forestry School was merged to form the new Shandong Agricultural University. At present, the school has developed into a multidisciplinary university with advantages in agricultural science, characterized by life sciences, integrating agriculture, science, engineering, management, economics, literature, law, medicine, and education.

Qingdao University of Science and Technology

Shandong University of Commerce, formerly known as China Coal Economics College, was founded in December 1985. In September 1998, it was changed from being managed by the former Ministry of Coal to being jointly built by the central government and Shandong Province, with Shandong Province as the main management center. In February 2003, it was renamed as the current name. The school mainly focuses on economics and management disciplines, with six disciplines including humanities, law, science, and engineering. It is a teaching oriented, multidisciplinary, and distinctive finance and economics higher education institution, and is a master's degree authorized project construction unit.

Shandong Provincial Labor Union Management Cadre College is a full-time adult university established in 1987 with the approval of the former National Education Commission and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. The administrative department in charge is the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions. The college has a long history of development and a glorious revolutionary tradition. Its predecessor was the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions Cadre School, founded in the revolutionary base area of Yishui County in 1938, and moved to Jinan in 1950.

Shandong Police Academy, formerly known as the Shandong Police Academy, was founded in Linyi, Shandong Province in 1946. It is the first police academy in the history of the CPC. For over 60 years, the relocation of the school site and the change of its name have made significant contributions to the revolutionary war, socialist revolution and construction, reform and opening up, and socialist modernization construction. In 1983, with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province, it was renovated into Shandong Public Security College. In 2004, it was upgraded to Shandong Police Academy with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shandong Province.
