    Zhejiang Economic Vocational and Technical College is a full-time provincial public vocational college, formerly known as Zhejiang Provincial Material School (under the former Zhejiang Provincial Material Bureau). It was founded in 1978 and officially upgraded to a vocational college in January 2002 with the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. In October 2003, it was relocated to Hangzhou Xiasha Higher Education Park as a whole.
