Site Description: The predecessor of Henan Vocational and Technical College was Henan First Technical School, founded in 1954. It has gone through several stages of development, including Henan Labor College, Henan Industrial and Technical Normal College, Henan Vocational and Technical Normal College, and Henan Vocational and Technical Education College. In March 1999, it was restructured into a new type of higher vocational college with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The college has been successively designated as the Henan Province High Skilled Talent Training Base, the National Vocational Education CNC Technology Training Base, the National Automobile Application and Maintenance Professional Skilled Shortage Talent Training Base, the Haier Talent Training Base, and the first batch of national high skilled talent training demonstration bases.
