Site Description: Henan Normal University is a provincial key university with a long history of establishment. The school is located in Xinxiang City, a famous city in northern Henan, at the intersection of the Beijing Guangzhou Taihang Railway and the Taihe Railway, with the towering Taihang Mountains to the north and the rolling Yellow River to the south. It is situated on the vast pastoral land and the beautiful shore of Weishui. Its predecessor was Zhongzhou University founded in 1923 and Pingyuan Normal College founded in 1951. After the establishment of New China, due to departmental adjustments, the school was renamed as Henan Normal University Second College, Henan Second Normal University, and Xinxiang Normal University. Henan Normal University was founded in 1985.
