Site Description: Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is affiliated with the Seventh Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group. It was founded in 1983 and was originally named "Southwest Aerospace Workers' University"; Approved by the Ministry of Education in July 1999, it was converted into Chongqing Electronic Vocational and Technical College; In March 2008, it was renamed as "Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College". In December 2008, it was designated as a key cultivation unit of Chongqing Municipal Demonstration College by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. In August 2009, it was officially designated as a demonstration higher vocational college at the municipal level by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is the first independently established higher vocational and technical college in Chongqing.
