Hebei Engineering and Technical College
Hebei Engineering and Technology College is located in the coastal open city of Cangzhou, and is a comprehensive engineering college directly under the Education Department of Hebei Province. The predecessor of the school was the Hebei Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering School established by the Hebei Provincial Department of Water Resources in Tianjin in 1952, which was the earliest water conservancy school established in North China at that time. In 1955, it was renamed as "Tianjin Water Conservancy School in Hebei Province". In 1958, it moved to Baoding City and was upgraded to a higher education institution, named "Hebei Institute of Water Resources and Electric Power". In 1960, it was renamed "Hebei Institute of Water Resources". In 1966, it moved to Gangnan Reservoir in Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang and was renamed as "Hebei Water Conservancy Engineering College". In 1970, with the approval of Hebei Province, the school was relocated to Cangzhou City and named "Hebei Water Conservancy College". In 1992, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was renamed as "Hebei Engineering and Technology College".

Hebei Normal University
Hebei Normal University is a provincial-level key university with a century old history and glorious tradition. The school originated from Shuntianfu School, founded in Beijing in 1902, and Beiyang Women's Normal School, founded in Tianjin in 1906. In June 1996, the former Hebei Normal University and Hebei Normal College merged with the Hebei Education College founded in 1952 and the Hebei Vocational and Technical Normal College founded in 1984 to form the new Hebei Normal University. It is one of the earliest and currently larger higher normal colleges established in China. Welcome to Yanshan University
Yanshan University originated from Harbin Institute of Technology and was founded in 1920. In 1958, the Heavy Machinery Department and related majors of Harbin Institute of Technology were relocated to the industrial town of Fularji District, Qiqihar City, and the Heavy Machinery College of Harbin Institute of Technology was established. In 1960, it was independently established and named Northeast Heavy Machinery College. In 1978, it was designated as a national key higher education institution. From 1985 to 1997, the school moved south to Qinhuangdao City as a whole. In January 1997, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, it was renamed Yanshan University. In 1998, it was transferred from the former Ministry of Machinery Industry to Hebei Province and implemented joint construction between the central and local governments, with Hebei Province as the main management.

Hebei University
Hebei University is the only key comprehensive university in Hebei Province, which is jointly built by the People's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was Tianjin Business University founded by French Jesuits in Tianjin in 1921. Later, the name of the school changed several times, and it went through various periods such as Tianjin Business College, Jingu University, Tianjin Normal University, and Tianjin Normal University. In 1960, it was transformed into a comprehensive university and named Hebei University. In 1970, it moved from Tianjin to the national historical and cultural city of Baoding, Hebei. In 2005, Hebei Provincial Staff Medical College and its affiliated hospitals were merged into Hebei University.

Jinan Railway Vocational and Technical College
Jinan Railway Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1951, and was upgraded to Jinan Railway College from 1958 to 1963.
