Liaoning Provincial Transportation College is one of the first 28 national demonstration higher vocational colleges in China, located in the historic city of Shenyang. It is a provincial-level general higher education institution in the field of science and engineering. The school was founded in 1951, initially named Northeast Jiaotong School of the Ministry of Transportation, and was the first specialized school in the field of highway transportation in New China. In 1954, it was renamed Shenyang Highway Engineering School of the Ministry of Transportation, and in 1958, it was upgraded to Liaoning Jiaotong University to provide undergraduate education and receive international students from China. In 1965, according to the central policy of combining peace and war, the school was relocated from the urban area of Shenyang to Zhoujiagou Village, Shangjiahe Town, Xinbin County, Fushun City. In 1982, it moved back to Shenyang City and began preparing to build Liaoning Provincial Highway Vocational School in 1985. In 1989, it enrolled vocational students and was named Liaoning Provincial Transportation Higher Vocational School in 1991. The school has undergone three changes in location and seven changes in name, and has successively held vocational, undergraduate, vocational, and vocational education.

Liaoning Forestry Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Liaoning Forestry School, a national key vocational school founded in 1951, is the only vocational college in our province that integrates forestry, landscaping, architecture, computer science, and management. The college is located in Sujiatun District, the southern vice city of Shenyang, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It is an ideal garden for young students to study and become successful.

Liaodong University is a provincial undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, located in the most beautiful border city in China - Dandong City, Liaoning Province. Dandong is located on the banks of the Yellow Sea and the Yalu River, with beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, and picturesque four seasons. It is an ideal place for students to study and live. Liaodong University is divided into two campuses in the north and south. The south campus is built along the river, facing Xinyizhou City of the democracy People's Republic of Korea across the river. Dalian Foreign Language College is located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian. It is a provincial foreign language higher education institution in Liaoning Province, with the right to confer bachelor's and master's degrees. The college was established in 1964 with the kind care of the late Premier Zhou Enlai. It was then known as Dalian Japanese Language College, renamed Liaoning Foreign Language College in 1970, and now renamed in 1978. For more than 40 years, the college has adhered to the school motto of "advocating morality and literature, and embracing all aspects", and followed the educational philosophy of "education first, quality first, highlighting characteristics, and scientific development". Currently, it has developed into a multidisciplinary foreign language university with foreign languages as the main focus, international education as the characteristic, and mutual support and coordinated development of disciplines such as literature, management, economics, engineering, and law.

Jinzhou Teachers College (hereinafter referred to as Jinzhou Teachers College) is located in Jinzhou, the central city of western Liaoning, on the coast of the Bohai Sea and with well-developed transportation. It is a full-time public vocational college approved by the State Council and registered with the Ministry of Education.

Bohai Shipbuilding Vocational College was originally affiliated with China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and is the only state-owned full-time higher vocational and technical college in northern China that focuses on cultivating high-level and intermediate professional and technical talents in the shipbuilding industry, with nationwide enrollment. The college is located in Huludao City, Liaoning Province, with three campuses: Longwan, Wanghai, and Lianhua. The campus covers an area of 380000 square meters, with a building area of 140000 square meters. Currently, there are over 8000 students on campus. The campus environment is beautiful and well-equipped, making it an ideal home for students to study, pursue their studies, and develop their talents.

Liaoning Normal University is a provincial key university located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian in northern China. It is a basic education teacher training and continuing education base, educational science research and consulting base, university teacher training base, and scientific research base that meets the needs of regional economic construction and social development. It has become the largest teacher education center in Liaoning Province and plays a leading role in demonstration.

Shenyang Normal University is affiliated with the People's Government of Liaoning Province and is a multidisciplinary university covering eight major categories: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, and management.

After more than half a century of unremitting efforts, Liaoning University has become the only comprehensive university in Liaoning Province with multiple disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, economics, law, foreign studies, art, science, engineering, management, etc. There are three campuses, namely Shenyang Chongshan Campus, Shenyang Puhe Campus, and Liaoyang Wusheng Campus. The teaching area covers an area of 2016 mu, with a building area of 618000 square meters, which is one of the key universities under the national "211 Project".

Northeast University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, located in Shenyang, the largest central city in Northeast China. The school covers a total area of 2.03 million square meters, with a building area of 1.03 million square meters. Northeastern University was founded in April 1923 and is a university with a glorious tradition of patriotism. From August 1928 to January 1937, General Zhang Xueliang, a famous patriotic general, also served as the principal. After the September 18th Incident, Northeastern University was forced to migrate to cities such as Beiping, Kaifeng, Xi'an, and Santai in Sichuan. During this period, the majority of teachers and students actively participated in the patriotic anti Japanese movement and were the vanguard and main force of the "December 9th" movement. In March 1949, Shenyang Institute of Technology was established on the basis of the School of Engineering and the School of Science (part) of Northeastern University. In August 1950, it was named Northeast Institute of Technology. In 1960, it was listed as one of the 64 key universities in China and was one of the first universities approved by the State Council to grant bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. On March 8, 1993, Northeast Institute of Technology was renamed Northeast University. In September 1998, Northeastern University was transferred from a former university under the Ministry of Metallurgy to a university directly under the Ministry of Education. The school is one of the first batch of "211 Project" and "Project 985" key construction schools in China, and it has been jointly constructed by the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province and Shenyang City.

Dalian University of Technology was established in April 1949 as the College of Technology of Dalian University; In July 1950, the establishment of Dalian University was abolished, and the College of Technology of Dalian University became independent as Dalian College of Technology; In 1960, it was designated as a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education; Established a graduate school in 1986; In 1988, it was renamed Dalian University of Technology; From 1996 to 2000, the "Ninth Five Year Plan" and "211 Project" were implemented, and the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province, and Dalian City jointly built Dalian University of Technology; From 2001 to 2003, the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province and Dalian City jointly built Dalian University of Technology, implementing the first phase of the "Project 985"; From 2003 to 2005, the "Tenth Five Year Plan" and "211 Project" were implemented; In December 2003, it was designated as the Central Management Cadre School by the central government; In 2004, the second phase of the "Project 985" was implemented. The Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province and Dalian City continued to focus on jointly building Dalian University of Technology.

Beijing Vocational College of Business Administration is a full-time private non academic higher education institution approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and registered by the Ministry of Education, relying on large state-owned enterprises. It is a qualified institution for the evaluation of the educational status of private higher education institutions in Beijing from 2007 to 2008.
