Zhejiang Economic Vocational and Technical College is a full-time provincial public vocational college, formerly known as Zhejiang Provincial Material School (under the former Zhejiang Provincial Material Bureau). It was founded in 1978 and officially upgraded to a vocational college in January 2002 with the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. Jinhua Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1994 and was established on the basis of Jinhua Institute of Technology.
