Hehai University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education with a 94 year history of education, characterized by water conservancy, engineering as the main subject, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It is one of the key universities implementing the national "211 Project". In recent years, with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology for the establishment of the State Key Laboratory of Hydrology and Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering Science, the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission for the establishment of the National Engineering Research Center for Efficient Use of Water Resources and Engineering Safety, and the approval of the Ministry of Education for the formal establishment of a graduate school and the construction of a "platform for innovation in superior disciplines" as signs, the construction and development of the school has reached a new level.

Jiangnan University, located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, a famous city in the south of the Yangtze River on the bank of the Taihu Lake Lake, is a key university under the national "211 Project" directly under the Ministry of Education. Jiangnan University is renowned as the "Pearl of Higher Education in Light Industry", originating from the Sanjiang Normal School established in 1902 and experiencing development periods such as National Central University and Nanjing University; In 1952, when the departments of national universities were adjusted, the Food Industry Department of Nanjing University of Technology (now Southeast University) was established from the affiliated departments of former Central University, Fudan University, Wuhan University, Zhejiang University, and Jiangnan University; In 1958, the department was reorganized and relocated to Wuxi, establishing Wuxi Light Industry College; In 1995, it was renamed Wuxi Light Industry University; In January 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Wuxi Light Industry University, Jiangnan University, and Wuxi Education College merged to form Jiangnan University; In 2003, Donghua University Wuxi Campus was merged into Jiangnan University. Southeast University is a national key university directly administered by the Central Government and directly under the Ministry of Education. It is one of the key universities under the "Project 985" and "211 Project". It is one of the first universities that can be granted doctor's, master's, bachelor's degrees, certified professors and associate professors and self approved doctoral supervisors by the State Council. The school is located in the historical and cultural city of Nanjing, covering an area of over 6300 acres. It has campuses such as the Four Archways, Kowloon Lake, and Dingjiaqiao.

Nanjing University is located in the ancient capital of Jinling, which is renowned for its long history and outstanding reputation. Its predecessor was Sanjiang Normal School, founded in 1902. It went through historical periods such as Liangjiang Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, National Southeast University, Fourth Sun Yat sen University, National Central University, and National Nanjing University, and was renamed Nanjing University in 1950. In 1952, in the adjustment of colleges and departments of colleges and universities across the country, Nanjing University merged with the School of Arts and Science of Jinling University founded in 1888 after adjusting some colleges and departments such as engineering, agronomy and normal education, and was still named Nanjing University. The school site was relocated from Sipailou to the original site of Gulou Jinda.

Chuxiong Normal College was established in May 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, on the basis of the merger of the original Chuxiong Normal College and Chuxiong Ethnic Normal School. It integrates full-time normal education with non normal education, radio and television education, and adult education. It is the only undergraduate normal college in Yunnan Province's Ethnic Autonomous Prefecture. The college is located in Chuxiong City, the capital of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, known as the "Provincial Gate", "Dianzhong Corridor", and "Yixi Throat".

Kunming University is a public full-time undergraduate university officially approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is a regular higher education institution formed by the merger of two well-known universities in Yunnan Province - Kunming Normal College and Kunming University. The college is located in the beautiful and happy city of Kunming, which is windy and sunny, with four seasons like spring.

Dali College is a provincial comprehensive undergraduate institution with a 30 year history of undergraduate education, specializing in medicine and education, and coordinating the development of disciplines such as medicine, education, literature, science, law, and management. In 1978, in order to address the shortage of health and education talents in border ethnic minority areas, the State Council approved the establishment of undergraduate universities such as Dali Medical College and Dali Normal College. Dali Medical College obtained the right to confer a bachelor's degree in August 1987 and successfully passed the qualification evaluation of undergraduate teaching work by the former National Education Commission in 1997. In October 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Dali Medical College and Dali Normal College merged, and Yunnan Radio and Television University Dali Branch and Dali Industrial School merged to form Dali College.

Yunnan Academy of Arts was founded in 1959 and is a comprehensive higher art institution with distinct characteristics and a complete range of art categories in southwestern China. Since its establishment, Yunnan Academy of Arts has gathered a large number of famous artists. Professor Liao Xinxue, a oil painter and sculptor who returned from France, Professor Li Dan, a violinist, Professor Fang Yu and his wife, a vocalist (translator of Les Miserables), Professor Yuan Xiaocen, a well-known Chinese painter and sculptor, and other experts and scholars have successively taught in the college. The college currently has 646 faculty members, including 551 staff members at the university headquarters and 95 staff members at affiliated schools. Among the 307 full-time teachers in the university headquarters, 51 have the title of professor, 119 have the title of associate professor, 7 experts enjoy special allowances from the State Council, 5 experts with outstanding contributions at the provincial level, and 8 experts enjoy special allowances from the Yunnan Provincial Government.

Yunnan Agricultural Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and qualified for higher education. It is open to enrollment nationwide. The college has a long history of education. It was founded in the 30th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1904 AD) at the Yunnan Silkworm Academy, which pioneered vocational education in Yunnan. Currently, it mainly focuses on animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, agriculture, and landscape architecture majors, with both computer application and economic management majors, and cultivates high-level technical applied specialized talents.

Kunming Vocational College of Arts is a regular university approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, which implements vocational education. Its predecessor was Nie'er Music School. The college is located on the shore of Dianchi Lake, with a campus area of over 200 acres and a building area of over 70000 square meters. The environment is beautiful and the facilities are complete. There are currently departments such as Nie'er Conservatory of Music, School of Design and Media, Dance, and Applied Foreign Languages; There are over 3000 students from over 30 ethnic groups in 25 provinces and districts.

Qujing Normal University is located in Qujing City, the birthplace of the the Pearl River, the third largest river in China, the second largest city in Yunnan Province, the hometown of Cuan culture, and "the top ten livable cities in China". The school is the only regular undergraduate university in Northeast Yunnan, and is a master's degree awarding and construction school in Yunnan Province. It is one of the provincial-level universities that Yunnan Province and Qujing City prioritize for development. In June 2007, I passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with a "good" score.

The predecessor of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics was Yunnan Provincial School of Finance and Trade Cadres, founded in 1951. In 1981, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to Yunnan University of Finance and Trade and began full-time undergraduate education. In 1995, it was designated as a provincial-level key university by the Yunnan Provincial Government. In 1997, it passed the undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation by the Ministry of Education. In 1998, Yunnan Economic Management Cadre College was merged into the new Yunnan University of Finance and Trade. In February 2006, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.
