    Beijing Youth College of Political Science is a municipal ordinary university, located in Wangjing District of Beijing, adjacent to the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. It was officially established in September 1986. At the beginning of its establishment, Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief designer of the reform and opening up, personally inscribed the name of our institute. Leaders of the Party and state, as well as leaders of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Government, have visited our hospital multiple times for inspection, research, on-site work, and guidance. The General Office of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee has specially proposed the establishment of the Academic Affairs Guidance Committee of the Beijing Youth Political College. Former Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, Jin Jian, Wang Jialiu, and Li Zhijian, have successively served as the directors of the first, second, and third sessions of the Academic Affairs Guidance Committee of the Beijing Youth Political College.

  • China Youth Political College

    The China Youth Political College was established in December 1985 on the basis of the Central Youth League School and is the only ordinary higher education institution under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. After its establishment, the China Youth Political College, along with the Central Youth League School, had two brands and one set of institutions, responsible for the dual functions of regular higher education and training for Communist Youth League cadres. The principal is concurrently held by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, with Feng Wenbin, Hu Yaobang, Han Ying, Wang Zhaoguo, Hu Jintao, Song Defu, Li Keqiang, Zhou Qiang, Hu Chunhua, and Lu Hao serving as principals.

  • East China University of Political Science and Law

    East China University of Political Science and Law (formerly known as East China University of Political Science and Law) was one of the first batch of higher political and legal institutions established in New China. In June 1952, with the approval of the East China Military and Political Commission, the Law Department, Political Department, and Social Department of 9 universities including St. John's University, Fudan University, and Nanjing University merged to form the East China School of Political Science and Law. Due to various reasons, the school was merged into the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences in 1958; In 1963, it was re established and enrolled the following year; Enrollment ceased in 1966 and was officially abolished in 1972. In March 1979, with the approval of the State Council, the school resumed for the second time.
