College of Humanities, Northeast Normal University
The College of Humanities of Northeast Normal University is an independent undergraduate college applied for by Northeast Normal University according to the new mechanism and model. Its predecessor was the Jilin Provincial Foreign Language and Cultural Exchange Center established in July 1988. In 1991 and 2000, Jilin International Language and Culture College and Jilin Vocational College of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation were established successively. In 2001, a new secondary college was established, Northeast Normal University's School of International Business and Economics, and full-time undergraduate education began to be implemented. Changchun University of Science and Technology (formerly Changchun University of Optics and Precision Mechanics) is a provincial key university in Jilin Province, characterized by optoelectronic technology and advantageous in the combination of optics, mechanics, electronics, computing, and materials, with coordinated development of engineering, science, humanities, economics, management, and law. The school was founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1958. Professor Wang Daheng, a famous scientist, an academician of the CAS Member and CAE Member, is the main founder, the first president, and the current honorary president. The school has successively been affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Defense Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Five Machinery, the Machinery Commission, the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics, and the China National Weapons Industry Corporation; In 1999, it was transferred to Jilin Province for management and co built with the National Defense Science and Technology Commission; In 2002, it was renamed Changchun University of Science and Technology; In 2004, it was designated as a key university in Jilin Province. Jilin University of Business and Economics
Jilin University of Commerce and Industry is a provincial-level public finance and economics regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2007, formed by the merger of the original Jilin Finance and Taxation College, Jilin Commercial College, and Jilin Grain College. The original three vocational colleges were all established in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China - Baicheng Normal University
Baicheng Normal University is located in Baicheng City, known as the hometown of cranes, and is the only undergraduate institution in the western part of Jilin Province. It was founded in 1958. In August 2000, the Jilin Provincial Government decided to merge Baicheng Forestry School into Baicheng Normal College; In March 2002, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to a undergraduate institution. In 1999, we jointly recruited undergraduate students with Siping Normal University and began undergraduate education; In 2002, the college independently enrolled undergraduate students; In 2007, we jointly trained master's students with Northeast Normal University and began master's education. In June 2008, the college passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education with excellent results. At present, the college has developed into a teaching oriented provincial regular undergraduate institution mainly focused on teacher education, covering the coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, and management.

Jilin Medical College, formerly known as the Fourth Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army of China, was founded in 1952 and has trained over 30000 medical talents for the military and local governments. It has a glorious history and excellent tradition. In August 2004, with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the school was transferred from the military to Jilin Province and renamed as Jilin Medical College. It became a provincial public higher medical undergraduate institution and is currently the only independent comprehensive higher medical institution in Jilin Province.
