Site Description: Shenyang Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a multidisciplinary higher education institution characterized by aviation and aerospace, with a focus on engineering and coordinated development of disciplines such as engineering, science, humanities, economics, and management. Founded in 1952, Shen Hang is one of the six undergraduate aviation colleges and universities under the former Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It is currently the only university jointly built by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is one of the 18 local colleges and universities in the country that rely on the Air Force to cultivate reserve officers, and is a training base for scarce talents in the equipment manufacturing industry (aerospace) in Liaoning Province. It is a provincial key university in Liaoning Province, It has been basically built into a "National Defense Science and Technology Talent Training Base", "Liaoning Old Industry Revitalization Talent Training Base", and "Air Force Reserve Officer Training Base".
