Site Description: Ludong University, located in the beautiful coastal city of Yantai, is a provincial comprehensive university with arts, science and engineering as the main body and multidisciplinary coordinated development. The school began offering higher education in 1958, formerly known as Laiyang Normal College. In 1961, it changed its location to Yantai and was renamed as Yantai Normal College. In 1984, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be renamed as Yantai Normal College. In 2006, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be renamed as Ludong University.
