Site Description: Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology is located in the southwest of the historical and cultural city of Shenyang, in the hinterland of the national level Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to the core area of Shenyang's equipment manufacturing industry and the Chemical Industry Park. The school is one of the first batch of units with the right to confer bachelor's degrees in the country. In 1993, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as a unit with the right to confer master's degrees. The school is a talent training base for the shortage of petrochemical technology in Liaoning Province, one of the important bases for scientific and technological innovation in Liaoning Province, and a key project research and development base in Shenyang City.
