Site Description: Jiangxi Applied Technology Vocational College is located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, the cradle of Hakka and the Song City of Jiangnan. It was founded in 1958 and was formerly known as Jiangxi Geological College (1958~1965, undergraduate), Jiangxi Geological School (1973~1979), Ganzhou Geological School (1979~1994), and Southern Industrial School (1994~2002). It has been rated as a national key vocational school twice. In 2002, it was upgraded to Higher Vocational and Technical College, under the jurisdiction of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Land and Resources. It is a full-time general higher education institution with a focus on engineering and a coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, and humanities.
