Site Description: Fujian Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College is one of the first 28 construction units of the "National Demonstration Higher Vocational College Construction Plan" determined by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance in China. It is the only provincial-level public higher vocational and technical college approved by the Ministry of Education in Fujian Province. Its earliest predecessor was the Fujian Shipbuilding School, the first official higher industrial school in modern China founded in 1866. It has trained students such as Yan Fu, Zhan Tianyou Deng Shichang, Chen Jitong, Sa Zhenbing and many other people with lofty ideals and national hero.
