Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine
The School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is located in the bustling city center of Shanghai, formerly known as Shanghai Second Medical University. The former Shanghai Second Medical University was formed by the merger of the School of Medicine of St. John's University (1896-1952), the School of Medicine of Zhendan University (1911-1952), and the Tongde School of Medicine (1918-1952) during the national higher education department adjustment in 1952. In 1997, the school officially approved the "211 Project" and is one of the key "211 Project" universities under national construction. On July 18, 2005, Shanghai Jiao Tong University merged with Shanghai Second Medical University, and the new Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was established. The new Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal Government.

Shanghai Academy of Drama
Shanghai Theatre Academy is a higher art institution in China that cultivates specialized talents in drama. Its predecessor was the Shanghai Municipal Experimental Theatre School. It was founded on December 1, 1945 by renowned educator Gu Yuxiu and renowned playwrights Li Jianwu, Gu Zhongyi, Huang Zuolin, etc. Mr. Xiong Foxi was the first president of the academy. In October 1949, Shanghai Municipal Experimental Drama School was renamed as Shanghai Municipal Drama Junior College. In 1952, higher education institutions nationwide implemented departmental adjustments, and the Drama Department of Shandong University's Department of Arts and the Drama Group of Shanghai Xingzhi Art School were merged and officially established, renamed as the East China Branch of the Central Academy of Drama. In 1956, it was officially named Shanghai Theatre Academy, a higher art institution directly under the Ministry of Culture. In April 2000, it was transferred to Shanghai for co construction with the Ministry of Culture. In June 2002, the former School of Performing Arts at Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Opera School, and Shanghai Dance School were merged into Shanghai Theatre College.

Historical evolution. Our school was founded in 1949 and was then known as the People's Medical College of the East China Military Region. In 1950, it was renamed Shanghai Military Medical University. In July 1951, it was officially named the Second Military Medical University. Overall strength. It is one of the three graduate schools established by the military, one of the 11 institutions offering eight year medical education in the country, one of the 36 "National Life Science and Technology Talent Training Bases", and the only training base for foreign military medical students in our army.

East China University of Science and Technology, formerly known as East China University of Chemical Technology, has a history dating back more than 100 years to Nanyang Public School and Zhendan University. It was the first higher education institution in China known for its chemical characteristics, formed by the merger of chemical departments from universities such as Jiaotong University (Shanghai), Zhendan University (Shanghai), Datong University (Shanghai), Soochow University (Suzhou), and Jiangnan University (Wuxi) in 1952 during the national college department adjustment. In 1956, it was designated as one of the first schools in China to admit graduate students. Since 1960, it has been designated as a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 1993, with the approval of the National Education Commission, it was renamed East China University of Science and Technology. In June 1996, the school entered the key construction ranks of the national "211 Project". In October 1997, Shanghai participated in co construction and co management. In 2000, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish a graduate school, and in 2008, it was approved to build the "985 Innovation Platform". It is one of the first 22 universities in the country to implement independent enrollment reform. After more than half a century of reform and construction, it has now developed into a research-oriented national key university with distinct characteristics and coordinated development across multiple disciplines.
