Jiangxi Daewoo University
Jiangxi Dayu Vocational and Technical College is a full-time, comprehensive vocational (vocational) level private ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Ms. Chen Xiangmei, Chairman of the United States Council for International Cooperation, inscribed the name of the college and established the "Chen Xiangmei Scholarship"; Academician Pan Jiluan, an academician of the CAS Member, a professor of Tsinghua University and doctoral supervisor of Nanchang University, served as the consultant of the College. Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College
Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution established in 1999 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Jiujiang Shipbuilding Industry School, founded in 1960, and it was successively affiliated with the former Ministry of Machinery Industry and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. In 1994, with the approval of the former National Education Commission, higher vocational education was established. In April 1999, the school was transferred to the management of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province by the National Defense Science and Technology Commission. In July of the same year, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be restructured as Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College. It is the only vocational college directly under the Provincial Department of Education in Jiangxi Province and a key construction vocational college in Jiangxi Province. In 2004, the school was listed as a basic laboratory institution jointly built by the central and local governments. In 2007, it was listed as one of the first key construction units of national defense technology industry vocational education and training bases by the National Defense Science and Technology Commission. In October 2007, it was designated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the construction unit of the "National Demonstration Higher Vocational College Construction Plan", achieving a zero breakthrough in the project in Jiangxi Province.

The predecessor of Nanchang University School of Medicine (formerly Jiangxi Medical College) was Jiangxi Public Medical Specialized School founded in 1921. In 1952, it was renamed as Jiangxi Provincial Medical College and began to enroll undergraduate students. In 1953, it was renamed as Jiangxi Medical College. In 1958, it merged with the Eighth Military Medical School of the People's Liberation Army of China and is still known as Jiangxi Medical College. In 1969, it merged with Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to establish Jiangxi Medical University. In November 1972, it was separated from Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and renamed Jiangxi Medical College.
