Site Description: Huzhou Normal University is a full-time undergraduate institution of higher education. The school's educational history can be traced back to the Qiantang Road Third United County Normal School in 1916. Higher education began in 1958 and undergraduate students were admitted in 1994. In March 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Huzhou Normal College, Huzhou Normal School, and Huzhou Teacher Training College merged to establish Huzhou Normal College. In May 2000, the original Huzhou Health School was merged into Huzhou Normal University. In November 2005, the school passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with a "good" score, achieving leapfrog development.
