Site Description: Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1958, and its predecessor was the Hubei Provincial School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education, which was established in 1954. It is the only higher undergraduate institution of traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei Province and an excellent university evaluated by the Ministry of Education for its undergraduate teaching level. In 2003, the former Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine merged with the former Hubei Higher Vocational College for Drug Control to establish the new Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Hubei College for Drug Control was established in December 1958. Its predecessor was the Hubei Provincial Nurse Vocational School, which was established in 1939. It is the only higher vocational school in China with pharmacy and medical testing as its main disciplines, and has certain characteristics and advantages in the fields of pharmacy and medical testing. In half a century of higher traditional Chinese medicine education practice, Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has established a solid foundation in Hubei, facing the whole country, and looking at the world. It has formed distinct educational characteristics, accumulated rich educational experience, and formed a teaching pattern of "combining traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, integrating humanities, science, engineering, and management".
