Site Description: The predecessor of the school was Guangxi Provincial Longzhou Normal School. Since its establishment in 1939, it has gone through various stages, including Guangxi Provincial Longzhou Normal School, Nanning Special Zone Longzhou Normal School, and Nanning Second Normal School. In December 1978, with the approval of the State Council, a full-time ordinary higher education institution was established, named "Nanning Normal College", which is one of the earliest three teacher colleges established in Guangxi. In 1994, the National Education Commission renamed the school "Nanning Normal College". On March 26, 2009, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to a undergraduate institution - Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities.
