Site Description: China Information University was first founded by the State Information Center in 1993. In June 2003, in order to meet the needs of the transformation of the educational system and government functions of private higher education institutions, a full-time comprehensive private non academic ordinary higher education institution was established with the approval of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the registration of the Ministry of Education, and the investment of Guoxin University Education Development Co., Ltd., implementing the president responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. After 6 years of hard work and innovation, the campus has a planned area of over 1000 acres. The first phase of the project has a construction area of 90000 square meters, and the second phase of the project is currently under construction.
