Central University for Nationalities

Beijing Forestry University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the National Forestry Administration. The school's educational history can be traced back to the Agricultural Science and Forestry Program of Beijing University in 1902. In 1952, the national university departments were adjusted, and the Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University merged with the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural University to establish Beijing Forestry College. In 1956, the Department of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Agricultural University and the Department of Architecture at Tsinghua University were partially merged into our school. In 1960, it was listed as a national key higher education institution, and in 1981, it became one of the first universities with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees. In 1985, it was renamed Beijing Forestry University. In 1996, it was listed as one of the first key universities under the "211 Project" by the state. In 2000, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish a graduate school. Obtained the qualification for undergraduate independent selection and admission in 2005. In 2008, the school became a pilot university for the construction of the national "Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" project.

The China Academy of Traditional Chinese Opera is the highest institution of Chinese opera education and the founder of the higher education system for Chinese opera. The school is a full-time ordinary higher education institution jointly built by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China and the Beijing Municipal Government, mainly managed by Beijing. The predecessor was the Printing Department of the Cultural College under the Ministry of Culture in 1958. People's Public Security University of China

The Central Academy of Fine Arts is the only higher art school directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It was established in April 1950 by the merger of the National Beiping Art College and the three art departments of North China University. Mao Zedong named the college. The history of Beiping Art College can be traced back to the establishment of the National Beijing Art School in 1918, actively advocated by the famous educator Mr. Cai Yuanpei. This is the first national art education institution in Chinese history and the beginning of modern art education in China; The predecessor of the Department of Fine Arts at North China University was the Lu Yi Department of Fine Arts, founded in Yan'an in 1938.

China University of Mining and Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, consisting of two campuses located in Beijing and Xuzhou. China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) is a research-oriented university developed from the original Beijing Institute of Mining and Technology. In 1978, with the approval of the State Council, the Beijing Graduate Department of China University of Mining and Technology was established to recruit and cultivate graduate students; In July 1997, with the approval of the former National Education Commission and Beijing Municipal Government, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) was established. In 1998, undergraduate students were admitted. The school is located on Xueyuan Road in Haidian District, Beijing, where universities gather. It overlooks the National Olympic Park to the east and the Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan, and Xiangshan to the west. The Central Conservatory of Music was established in 1950, with its predecessor being several distinctive higher music schools and departments from the 1920s to the 1940s. They were the Music Department of Yanjing University established in 1927, the Music Department of the School of Literature and Art of North China University established in 1939, the Nanjing National Conservatory of Music established in 1940, the Music Department of the National Beiping Art College established in 1946, and the Chinese Conservatory of Music in Hong Kong and Shanghai, as well as the Music Department of the Northeast Lu Xun Academy of Literature and Art established in 1948, Its main body is the Nanjing National Conservatory of Music. In 1958, the college was relocated from Tianjin to Beijing, located at the former site of the Qingchun Prince's Mansion in Fuxingmen, Xicheng District, Beijing (the birthplace of Emperor Guangxu). Originally under the Ministry of Culture, it was under the Ministry of Education in 2000. In 1960, it was designated as a national key higher education institution, and in 1999, it was included in the national "211 Project" construction school. It is currently the only national key university and "211 Project" construction school among the national art colleges. Previous deans include Ma Sicong, Zhao Feng, Wu Zuqiang, Yu Runyang, Liu Lin, and the current deans are Wang Cizhao.
